This course is suitable after 6 weeks check-up and before baby begins to crawl.

 

  First half of the class is geared towards gently getting mum back in shape:

Deep breathing to calm and relax mum

Lying down stretches 

Body alignment positions

Gentle abdominal work e.g. pelvic tilts, pelvic floor exercises, bottom lifts and squeezes

Yoga postures (modified when necessary)

Mum-on-the-go exercises that can be included in everyday activities


Second half of the class is geared towards baby

  Learn to massage your baby and also some 'playtime'.

 

 

This class is an ideal way to meet other mums and maybe stay on for a 'cuppa' and a chat.

Don't forget to bring all baby requirements into yoga room as there is lots of space.

If baby needs to be fed or changed you go ahead and do so

and join in with the exercises...etc when you can.
